Who is responsible
Digital Horizon Marketing Management FZCO, Dubai, UAE, is the controller for the Localized plugin and this website. Questions or requests: hello@localized.design.
What the plugin sends
When you run a translation, the plugin sends the text of the layers you selected, their layer and frame names, and the tone and context notes and brand terms you entered. It sends them to the Localized server at https://localized-proxy.vercel.app, which forwards them to OpenRouter and the model provider (Google Gemini by default) to produce the translation. The plugin also sends your licence key to the Localized server, to check your plan and count usage.
If you use your own OpenRouter key instead of a licence key, requests go straight from the plugin to OpenRouter. They do not touch the Localized server.
The plugin never reads or sends images, vectors, comments, other pages or the rest of your file.
What we store
- Your licence key ID and your plan.
- Monthly usage counts, so we can apply your plan limit.
We do not store your design content. Selected text, names and notes are passed through to the model provider to get the translation and are not kept by the Localized server.
What stays on your device
Your licence key or OpenRouter key, your settings and your brand terms are saved on your device with Figma client storage. They are not saved in your Figma file.
Third parties
OpenRouter and the model provider process the text you translate under their own terms and privacy policies. Vercel hosts the Localized server and this website. Google Fonts serves the interface fonts. We do not sell your data and we do not use your content to train models.
Retention
Licence and usage records are kept while your licence is active and for as long as needed for billing and accounting afterwards. Ask us to delete them at any time.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the licence and usage data we hold about you by writing to hello@localized.design. To keep your text off the Localized server altogether, use your own OpenRouter key.

If this policy changes, we update this page and the date above.
